Effect of Individualized Nutrition Intervention Care Combined with Swallowing Training on Postoperative Nutritional Status in Patients with Laryngeal Cancer

Introduction: Laryngeal carcinoma accounts for 13.9% of head and neck tumors, squamous cell is the main pathological type. At present, treatment laryngeal cancer mainly surgical or postoperative radiotherapy. The surgery delicate, complex, time-consuming traumatic. Postoperative patients are prone to dysphagia, leading an increase in incidence malnutrition. Malnutrition can cause a series negative effects, including weight loss, increased infection, reduced tolerance anti-tumor treatment, extended length hospital stay. Therefore, how effectively improve nutritional status through nursing intervention has become important topic research. Objective: Investigate effect individualized nutrition care combined with swallowing training on cancer. Methods: A total 120 consecutive who underwent at our first time between May 2018 2021 were selected study equally divided into control group by random number table method, 60 each group. Patients given function health counseling, adopted based status, function, quality life (QOL) assessed using Patient-generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA), MD Anderson Dysphagia Inventory (MDADI), Quality Life Questionnaire-Core30 (QLQ-C30) before three months after intervention. Results: Before intervention, scores MDADI, PG-SGA, QLQ-C30 not significantly different two groups (P > 0.05), MDADI score PG-SGA decreased group, significant differences 0.05). had higher lower than < 0.05); There Conclusion: Combining improves QOL
